Planet sizes and orbital distances are compressed. Orbits are simplified circles, not an ephemeris. Reference periods and distances describe real celestial bodies; fictional terraforming can change other properties.
Surface textures, city coordinates, spacecraft and fleet positions are artistic interpretations. Color swatches identify worlds, not their inhabitants' castes. The simulation clock does not advance the story.
The Society includes pre-story history. The Rising contains original-trilogy spoilers. Solar War adds events through Dark Age.
